Recent Events

We held our very first CAFE CHURCH held on Thursday 15th October 2009. We commenced at 10am with Coffee and chat .. and there was plenty of both! .. and followed this with a very informal time of worship, prayer, information and thanksgiving. I think there were about 20 people present.

On 18th February 2010 we had our latest edition of Cafe Church and it was a very wonderful occasion.  We had time for folk to put prayer request on the Board of Hope and had two reports of items that had been on the Board and God had wonderfully answered.  Praise His Name!

Our Guest speaker for the day was Thelma Mills, a semi-retired missionary who has spent many years in Guinea Bissau.  He lively report of the work there thrilled us all.

We had our best attendance ever – 43 or 44 people – and I am told there were cars everywhere – in our own car park, along the lane and in Brooklands Farm (Next door).  The chapel was more than half full because we sit around tables and this takes up room.  Who knows, next time we may have to bring in extra chairs.  There  are plenty of them and they are comfortable.  Why not come and be part of this latest phenomenon in the tiny village of Stuckton?  We have people from all over the place coming to us and finding joy in being together in the presence of the LORD!

For the future we have Derek Redman of MAF, Flying for Life, as our guest speaker for 18th March 2010.  This will be a very popular event and we suggest you come as early as you can – park in the Farmyard where there is concrete hardstanding! – and bring a friend.  Our grateful thanks to all the people who help to make Cafe Church such a wonderful time of blessing, and special thanks to Richard and Sheila for the use of Brooklands Farm!
